This post reminds me of a funny story:
A guy walks into a bar and sits down next to a radioactive scorpion. The scorpion asks him why he has a huge bulbous tumor on his head...
Okay, so it wasn't a funny story, but it does lead me to this question: how in the world does one come up with the idea of treating anything with scorpion venom, whether radio active or not?
I suspect your theories on generating super-villians may not be far from the truth.
