The best way to thank your friends and family for helping you move?
Food poisoning.
Including myself and the lovely wife, nine of the dozen or so people who helped us move were struck down by the Subway sandwich platter. I don't think I've ever been so sick. About 24 hours of sick, sick, sickness followed by a week of not eating solid food.

Where in the World did you get the picture of 'the ugliest fountain in the World'?
I live in Horsham, West Sussex U.K. and we have exactly the same fountain as in your pic.
In my view it is female and unwell.
However, I don't recall there ever having been any plants surrounding the fountain's base, so I'm wondering if there is a second 'ugliest fountan' elsewhere on the planet. If so we will have two groups of unimpressed people.
So is it Horsham or elsewhere? (I need to know).

That is indeed Horsham's Shelley fountain. The picture was taken in September, 2001.
For work, my wife and I lived in Horsham for 3 months during the fall/winter of 2001. We really loved the town. The fountain was odd.

I have just been down to visit it. I can see that your picture was taken facing West andit is the Lynd Cross pub in the background.
I really didn't think that there could be two such sculptures!
I think opinin if Horsham is divided on the good / ghastly issue!!!
