She looks pretty big in that picture, but Lucy's medium-sized. She's about 60 lbs. We're guessing part chow chow, part german shepherd, part ?. She's 3 or 4 years old. Adopted her about a month and a half ago.
She'd been picked up as a stray, but she's obviously house trained. Very good with people -- even small kids -- and slowly getting used to other dogs. Trying to introduce her slowly to the cat.

Tell me you're just babysitting that gigantic beast.
I'm guessing all those details are on your Faceplant site.

60 pounds in medium-sized? No, my-tiny-little-friend-who-makes-medium-sized-dogs-look-enormous, 60 pounds is big.
We'll be coming up in July. You need to come see us in Idaho. You guys have vacation time saved up for important emergencies like this, right?
I'm only 4' tall.
Awesome! I know Liz has been wanting to see the girls (she'll tolerate your presence). What time in July?
Hey, there's nothing wrong with that. Your people performed a great service by destroying the One Ring and restoring peace to Middle Earth.
We're shooting for July 4th (if I can convince the angry little woman to not stay over an extra day at her parents on the way up).
